MUMBAI: Kavya Thapar is a well-known name in the South film industry. She has been a part of movies like Ee Maaya Peremito (Telugu), Market Raja MBBS (Tamil), and Ek Mini Katha (Telugu). Earlier, this year, Kavya also made her Bollywood debut with a sweet film titled Middle-Class Love, and the actress’ performance in it was also appreciated. Currently, Kavya is busy garnering praise for her performance in Netflix’s series CAT.

What responses are you getting for your performance in CAT?
The response has been very good from friends and family. I am getting a lot of DMs. People are saying that finally I have made a mark in Hindi.

How was your experience of working with Randeep Hooda?
It was an amazing experience. I got a chance to make my OTT debut with a brilliant actor like Randeep Hooda.
CAT marked your OTT debut, so were you nervous before the series was about to premiere?
I wasn’t nervous as I don’t believe in thinking about the outcome. I don’t feel nervous as I know I have given 100 percent. So, a day before CAT premiered, I was relaxed and I slept aaramse. Later, the next day, I woke up with amazing reviews that everyone was giving to our work.
