MUMBAI: Sony Liv’s Maharani has been garnering accolades from all corners. The web project has been directed by Karan Sharma.
Karan Sharma is also getting accolades for his amazing direction. In an interview with a portal, the director spoke about his journey and more. Talking about the year he started his journey of filmmaking, he told socialnews, “I started my journey of filmmaking from Delhi in 2001 and in 2003 took a leap to the hub of the Indian film industry, Mumbai and I have never stopped since.”

Karan Sharma added, “The journey was definitely not easy. Being a devoted film fan, my individualistic approach prepared me well for the challenges in my path to becoming an avid filmmaker.” Further, he was asked if there is any particular type of project or an actor he wants to direct. To this, he said, “As a filmmaker, I don't want to restrict myself to a particular kind of genre. It all depends on the script and the content. If it excites me, I will do it and try to do justice with it. I will be fortunate enough to work with some of the finest actors in Bollywood.”
Karan Sharma has been a part of several web series like Home and Avrodh as an associate and second unit director. He has also been a part of few television shows like MTV Roadies 9, Jaanbaaz, and Yahan sab Anand Anand hai.
