MUMBAI: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma continues to entertain his audience amid lockdown, and his film Climax starring pornstar Mia Malkova, released on June 6, 2020. Climax was the filmmaker's first attempt at an OTT movie, and the film released on the digital platform on RGVWorld.in on a pay per view basis. The sizzling hot poster and the teaser of the film had got the audience really excited, and a day after the film’s release, RGV has already announced his next, and it is titled ‘Naked'.
Ram Gopal Verma called his film Climax a super success and announced his next film Naked, sharing that the trailer will release on June 8 at 5:30 pm. He wrote, “After the THEATRE FUCKING SUPER SUCCESS of #RgvWorldTheatre’s #CLIMAX on http://RGVWorld.in/ShreyasET our next film trailer of NAKED will be releasing tmrw 8 th June at 5.30 Pm.” He also shared the poster of Naked on his Twitter handle. Ram Gopal Varma shared the statistics after a day of Climax’s release and on Twitter, he revealed, “In less than a day 1,68,596 people saw #Climax by paying Rs 100 per view making it a GAME CHANGER ..Many find a novelty in the strange film which is a good Corona break.”
In yet another tweet, Ram Gopal Varma wrote about the shutting down of theatres and said that he built his very own theatre in people’s homes instead.
