In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actress Yami Gautam spoke in detail about the preparation she did for her character in her movie ‘Lost’, and also on doing movies after marriage.

MUMBAI :Yami Gautam has been winning the hearts of the fans over time with her amazing acting contribution. She is indeed one such name who is known not just for her acting and movies, but also for her cuteness. Yami Gautam is currently the talk of the town for her upcoming movie titled ‘Lost’.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, Yami Gautam spoke in detail about the preparation she did for her character in the movie, and also on doing movies after marriage.

Yami Gautam said that her director just told her to have a normal approach to the character. She has normally seen many directors giving huge preps, but she had her basic preparation. She had spoken to one senior journalist in Kolkata and observed how they behaved. She was under a good director where she had to unlearn everything and just have a normal approach.

Yami Gautam on doing different characters on digital platform

Indeed, we have seen Yami Gautam 2.0, especially on the digital platform, as we have loved the actress in the movie ‘Thursday’, and earlier in the movie ‘Dasvi’. Now she is all set to surprise the audiences with her upcoming movie ‘Lost’. On this, Yami Gautam said that for every film of hers, it is important whether it is a digital release or a theatre release. For her, only three things matter: script, role, and director. As an actor, she is ready to put in her 100%.

Yami Gautam on actresses getting less movies after marriage

As we know, Yami Gautam got married to Aditya Dhar. When asked about how actresses get less movies especially after marriage. She said that these things used to happen earlier. She had heard of many legendary actresses who were playing central characters, but after marriage they were given a mother's role. She is really happy that this does not exist now, and this is not even a part of conversations in today's time. The actress further added that talent has nothing to do with your marital status now.
