MUMBAI : This week, Jim Sarbh has two releases, Rocket Boys season 2 and Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. The latter is a web series that will premiere on 16th March 2023, and the latter is a movie that will hit the big screens on 17th March 2023. 

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Jim and spoke to him about doing projects based on real-life stories, Rocket Boys season 3, and more... 

You have done many projects based on real-life characters and real-life stories. So, as an actor do you feel that you are attracted to real-life stories? 

Weirdly yeah! Just recently someone asked me some different question and I started talking about something else and I was saying, ‘yeah Neerja, Padmaavat, Sanju, Rocket Boys, even A Death in the Gunj is loosely based on a true story’. So, I was like wow I have been in a lot of projects based on true stories and it’s quite crazy, and no, it’s not by design. I don’t know how it happened, even Gangubai Kathiawadi; Neerja, Padmaavat, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, Rocket Boys, A Death in the Gunj, and I am trying to think if there are even more. It’s not like I am drawn particularly to that.

You have two releases in the same week, just with a gap of one day. 

I am having both promotions simultaneously and it’s a bit overwhelming. I think even one release is a bit overwhelming. Both the projects are produced by Emmay Entertainment and I had a lovely association with them.

So, after Rocket Boys season 2, is there Rocket Boys season 3 happening? 

No, it’s a limited series. It was always planned to be two seasons. After you watch Rocket Boys 2, you will see it is difficult to make Rocket Boys 3.
