MUMBAI: Hina Khan is doing great for herself. After working in TV soaps like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, she stepped into the world of cinema. And now, she made her debut at Cannes Film Festival.
The actress is attending Cannes 2019 for the poster launch of her upcoming film, Lines. For her red carpet walk, she wore a gorgeous grey heavily embellished and stonework gown with a plunging neckline, long trail and dramatic sleeves by designer Ziad Nakad. Her fans and friends from the industry showered her with praises for her gorgeous look.
An active social media user, Hina now treated her fans with a new picture of herself. In the picture, she can be seen wearing an Armine Ohanyan lavender dress paired with a metallic belt and minimal make-up, looking stunning. Her caption read, “Forgiveness is the smell that lavender gives out when you tread on it.. #LavenderLove (Mark Twain).”
While her fans and friends from the industry praised her for her Cannes debut, some social media users massively trolled her for having made it to Cannes without merit. Not to keep mum, Hina took to social media to give it back to everyone who has been questioning her merit.
She wrote, “I was persistent, I am consistent, and I will be efficient again n again n again. Don't know where I belong don't know if I have to, the place don't define me because as always I will work my a** off and I will make my own place! My promise, a proud outsider from my Chandivali Studio.”
