MUMBAI: Marvel Studios is kicking off 2025 with a bang as the highly anticipated Captain America: Brave New World gears up for its grand theatrical release on Valentine’s Day. With fans buzzing over theories and expectations, the film is set to take the MCU in a thrilling new direction.
Leading the charge as the new Captain America, Anthony Mackie recently got candid in an interview, sharing his thoughts on epic superhero showdowns and even giving a shoutout to Bollywood’s very own Shah Rukh Khan!
When asked if his winged Captain America and Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk could take on Deadpool and Wolverine, Mackie didn’t hold back.
"I think I could definitely give Deadpool a run for his money! That would probably be an even fight—I'm pretty good with my wings against his swords! As for Red Hulk, well, I think he'd just cut Deadpool to pieces. And let’s be real—you can’t beat a Hulk, you can only try to tame one. So Wolverine? Yeah, I don’t see that ending well for him."
When asked which Bollywood star he’d love to see in the MCU, Mackie had an instant response:
"I think Shah Rukh Khan—he's the damn best!"
The mention of SRK has sent fans into a frenzy, with many already imagining the Bollywood superstar as a Marvel superhero.
