MUMBAI: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are now parents to two children. A boy was born to Anushka Sharma in February 2024. Akaay is the name of their happy son. Vamika is the name of the newborn girl that Virat and Anushka already had. They are now a content family of four. Anushka Sharma lived in London for a while. Rumors circulated that Anushka and Virat intended to relocate to the UK with their children. However, Anushka Sharma traveled to India for a function.

Anushka Sharma finally appeared in public after a long time as the special guest at the YES Moms & Dads event at Slurrp Farm. The actress from Chakda Xpress talked extensively about motherhood, fatherhood, and all things Vamika and Akaay. She came to terms with the fact that both she and Virat Kohli are fallible parents. The actress acknowledged that they are not flawless and that it is acceptable to express their complaints to children.
She said, “So they know that you are flawed. Imagine kids having to live up to, ‘Oh my parents are like this’. So owning your mistakes makes (it easier.”
Anushka went on to discuss how having children has altered her social life. She revealed that the only individuals she can hang out with are those that share her schedule. She added that she gets invitations to dinner, but she is perplexed since she thinks the kids might be having a snack when Anushka and Virat are having dinner.
Anushka added, “Some day, occasionally you have to let it go, otherwise people will hate you.”
