MUMBAI : Terry Notary is an actor, movement coach, and stunt coordinator working on filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari's big-budget Ramayana. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role. The most unlikely source, a local man who happened to run into him on the street and ask him over a coconut, was the one who broke the news. Notary stated that he has been working on the film Ramayana for over a year in his capacity as an action director.

The local man, Kishori Khabiya Jain posted a video of their interaction on Instagram. As an action director, Notary says in the video that he is "working on Ramayana" and that he has been in India for "a year and a half." Adding that this is his "first time in India," he called the nation "crazy but good." “It never stops, it’s always going,” he said.
Notary has experience doing motion-capture scenes for films including Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, and the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy. In addition to working on the Lion King remake, Kong: Skull Island, and the Hobbit trilogy, he had a significant part in the Palme d'Or-winning movie The Square.
The film is reportedly being made on a budget of more than Rs 800 crore, making it the costliest Indian film ever. It has also been rumored that Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer will provide the score. Sai Pallavi plays Sita in the Ramayana and Yash is also expected to play Raavan. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra revealed in a recent interview that a big name has been confirmed for Hanuman's role, while a TV debutante would play Lakshman.
