MUMBAI: Kiara Advani posed topless for Dabboo Ratnani's calendar last year, and the photographs went viral. She was seen in the shot concealing herself with a leaf. Some people admired her bravery, while others mocked her mercilessly.

She recently addressed this in Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch 2. Arbaaz read a comment stating, "2020 mein bas yahi ek cheez achi hui thi (This was the only good thing in 2020)", to which Kiara reacted, “I will take that as a compliment.”. 

Another comment read, “Kaash! Yeh pataa bakri kha jati (I wish a goat would eat the leaf).”.  Disgusted with the same, Kiara commented with an, "Eww". 

She further said, "Mujhe khud pata nahi hai yeh kaha se kaha gaya (I don't know how it escalated). It was Dabboo...He came up with this concept of leafy concept. It was very aesthetically shot.".

Kiara also mentioned in the talk programme that she was plagued by rumours of plastic surgery in 2018. So much so that the actress said that she ‘almost believed’ the remarks.

Kiara revealed that she attended an event and that when the photos were uploaded on various social media platforms, many people assumed she had undergone plastic surgery. The actress said that there was so much talk about it that she almost thought she'd done something to her face.

Kiara went on to say that one internet user had previously encouraged her to quit working with Akshay Kumar. The actress believes that one should know when to draw the line and not let trolls get the best of them

Kiara Advani was last seen in the film Shershaah, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra.  She will next be featured alongside Kartik Aaryan in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Kiara is also working on a family drama with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor called Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
