MUMBAI: According to the latest media reports, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan will have to remain in Arthur Road jail for few more days as his bail plea will be heard on Wednesday at 2.45 pm. The court hearing Aryan's bail plea has directed the NCB to file a reply in this case by Wednesday, which means that the star kid will have to remain in Arthur Road Jail till then.

Senior advocate Amit Desai argued for Aryan Khan's bail plea without any delay as the special public prosecutor sought more time to file a reply. "Just because of their administrative reason, the liberty of someone should not be curtailed," said Amit Desai, and added, “Their investigation may continue... So far as this boy [Aryan Khan] is concerned... The max sentence can only be one year... There is no material against him and no substance was found on him. So if they say that they need time for another week then look at the fact that it is only for one year sentence.”

Further, reports stated that the counsel for NCB said that at least one week will be required by the NCB to file replies as there are multiple bail pleas pending in the case. Amit Desai contended, “The man is already inside the prison for a week... Bail hearing does not have to depend on investigation. I am not arguing bail, I am only arguing for a date."

For the uninitiated, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) busted a rave party in Mumbai where people were allegedly consuming and dealing drugs. Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and seven others were detained by the NCB on October 2, with relation to this case.
