KOLKATA: Birsa Dasgupta, known for helming Bengali films like Gangster, Shob Bhooturey, and the recent , has praised rapper and music composer Badshah’s Bengali number Bholey Baba.
Bholey Baba is a song from the upcoming Ankush, Mimi Chakraborty, and Rittika Sen starrer Bengali film Villain.
The song marks the debut of Badshah in Bengali film music. Produced by JAM8, the party song is also sung by Nikhita Gandhi. The video shows Ankush’s character celebrating his engagement with his fiancé (Rittika’s character), where Mimi’s character is also invited.
Impressed by the song, Birsa recently took to Twitter to share his take on it. He wrote, ‘Best Bengali party song in a long time! Kudos.’
