MUMBAI: Mumbai, 17th October 2024: Gubbara Entertainment is thrilled to unveil the trailer for Blind Spot (Chashma) , coinciding with the exciting announcement of the film’s premiere at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 under the “Focus South Asia” section. The trailer was released today on Gubbara Entertainment’s social media channels. The film boasts of an enigmatic ensemble featuring Konkona Sen Sharma and Ayan Khan, with Nitin Baid (editor Gully Boy and Masaan ) stepping into the director’s chair. Varun Grover delivers a captivating screenplay, driving the narrative. The short film also showcases exceptional performances from Kabir Shah, Shafeen Patel, Shishir Sharma, and Vijay Shrivastava, bringing this heartfelt tale to life with depth and emotion.

Blind Spot (Chashma) is a touching exploration of boyhood, identity, and self-realisation. The trailer opens with a young boy slowly adjusting his eyes to a peaceful setting, symbolising his increasing awareness of the world around him. As the narrative unfolds, we witness his compelling journey through school and family life, where he grapples with the challenges of a shifting environment. Toward the end, the boy poignantly asks, “ Tum sabko lagta hai mujhe kuch dikhta nahi hai? ” ("You all think I can't see anything, don't you?"), revealing his profound understanding of his surroundings.

Actor Konkana Sen Sharma shares her overall thoughts, “ Sensitivity and truth are at the core of what Chashma is all about.
