Cardi B slammed for 'vulgar' social media post

Rapper Cardi B has sparked outrage with a provocative video clip which she has posted on her Instagram page to promote her new single called Please me.

Over the last few weeks, Cardi has taken her antics to new heights as she stripped out of her bottoms to let her privates breathe and was slammed for a ‘disgusting' clip caressing herself.

For Please me, the 26-year-old has teamed up with Bruno Mars, and its lyrics are as explicit as the title itself.

In the video, the I like it singer put on a very steamy display as she stretches out on her knees while sitting on a sofa, pulsating her body in a tiny gold top and tracksuit bottoms. She is seen grinding and sticking her tongue out at the camera, reported leading publication.

She explained the video with a sleazy caption, and signed it off with a mention of the single: "Thotiana Mix with a little bit of Please Me."

The video attracted over 13 million views for her saucy performance.

One of her followers wrote, "Grow up Cardi! You are a mother and certainly not a role model", while another complained, "Cardi I love you girl but there's a huge difference between a big personality and just plain vulgarity."

One user quipped, "Who came here just to read the controversies?"

Filmmakers should make movies for theatres: Steven Spielberg

Veteran filmmaker Steven Spielberg has urged other filmmakers to make movies for theatres and not just for television.

While accepting the Filmmaker Award at the Cinema Audio Society Awards, Spielberg requested filmmakers to focus on giving the audience a theatrical experience, reports leading publication.

He said, "I hope all of us really continue to believe that the greatest contributions we can make as filmmakers is to give audiences the motion picture theatrical experience. I'm a firm believer that movie theatres need to be around forever."

Spielberg said he was not against television, but he feels theatre has far better experience.

"I love television. I love the opportunity. Some of the greatest writing being done today is for television, some of the best directing for television, some of the best performances are on television today.

"The sound is better in homes more than it ever has been in history but there's nothing like going to a big dark theatre with people you've never met before and having the experience wash over you. That's something we all truly believe in," he added.

Lena Headey thinks refusing sex with Weinstein hurt her career

Game of Thrones star Lena Headey feels that refusing sex with Harvey Weinstein harmed a decade of her career.

In an interview to Sunday Times Culture section, the actress said that after refusing to have sex with the movie mogul, she was no longer offered any jobs with Miramax - Weinstein's highly influential production company, reports leading publication.

"After he was discovered to be a slime ball, on a grander scale than me just knowing it, I did start thinking, 'Fuck, maybe because I didn't sh*g him, that's impacted a decade of my working life', because I did two jobs for Miramax before those incidents, and after that there was nothing," she said.

Weinstein made two unwanted advances to Headey, both of which she recounted on Twitter back in 2017.

The pair first met at The Brothers Grimm premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2005. The film was distributed by Miramax.

She said, "At one point, Harvey asked me to take a walk down to the water, I walked down with him and he stopped and made some suggestive comment, a gesture, I just laughed it off, I was genuinely shocked. ‘I remember thinking, it's got to be a joke, I said something like.. oh come on mate! It'd be like kissing my dad'."

She was never in another Miramax film again.

At the moment, the actress is looking forward to the final season, which is set to open in April this year. It will air in India on Star World.

Jussie Smollet's case goes to grand jury

Actor Jussie Smollet's case of homophobic attack will now come before a grand jury next week.

According to leading publication, a panel will hear the case, but it is not clear who is facing charges or what they might be.

Last month, the Empire star told the police that he was attacked on 29 January by men who used "racial and homophobic slurs" against him.

Following an investigation, two brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo were arrested by the police who viewed them as "potential suspects", but they were released later due to lack of evidences.

Law enforcement sources told the publication that the men who were arrested and then released are staying somewhere around the Loop in downtown Chicago under the watchful eye of police so no one gets to them.

After two miscarriages, motherhood makes Spearritt feel 'incredible'

Actress Hannah Spearritt is on cloud nine to have her own child, especially after suffering two miscarriages.

In an interview to OK! Magazine, Spearritt, who welcomed her daughter Tea with boyfriend Adam Thomas in December last year, spoke about the new phase of her life, reports leading publication.

"To have my own little girl is incredible," Spearritt said.

On how her sleeping pattern has changed with the arrival of the newborn, she said, "We (Spearritt and Thomas) have to sleep in different rooms, not every night but most nights, so at least one of us gets a full night's sleep."

Apart from miscarriages, the 37-year-old actress also dealt with other health hazards in the past. She also opened up about her battle after a breast implant went wrong in 2013.

"My body was shutting down. At my worst moments, I felt like I was dying. I was suffering from breathlessness to the point where I would be on the floor," she added.
