In the trailer, Chris charmingly introduces Varun Sharma as the voice of Garfield for Indian audiences. With playful jest, Chris quips, “I wish I could voice Garfield in everywhere but I only speak like 162 languages," as the scene transitions to Garfield with Hindi voiceover. Chris then playfully asks, “How’s that? Nailed it!". He then cheekily reveals that he’s not the one behind Garfield in a Hindi voice. The spotlight then shifts to Varun Sharma, who warmly greets viewers and introduces his role as the voice of Garfield in the Hindi version of the animated movie.

Reflecting on his experience of dubbing for The Garfield Movie, Varun Sharma shared with Bollywood Hungama, “For me, lending my voice for The Garfield Movie has been a character I have followed since my childhood, and I resonate with his quirks. The entire dubbing process was an amazing experience, allowing me to relive all the best of my childhood memories."

Expressing his gratitude to Sony Pictures, Varun exclaimed, “I am thankful to Sony Pictures Releasing International for this opportunity. I am eagerly waiting for the audience to have an absolute blast watching the film."

Earlier, Shony Panjikaran, General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) India, expressed the excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Varun Sharma for the Hindi version of The Garfield Movie. Garfield has a quirky personality, and Varun’s phenomenal and humorous performances in recent films makes him the perfect choice."

In the movie, Garfield embarks on a quest to reunite with his long-lost father, Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson), who knows the streets, unlike a pampered feline. Garfield, along with his loyal companion by his side, Odie, sets off on a journey filled with laughter and surprises that are sure to keep audiences entertained.
