DDLJ to run for one more week at Maratha Mandir

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Maratha Mandir's decision to pull the plug on India's longest running movie, DDLJ caused considerable heartbreak. Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment.

With anguish pouring in from all quarters and significant public pressure mounting to keep the show running, the cinema owners decided to extend screening the movie by a week on Thursday. The film will also be screened at its regular slot of 11.30 am as opposed to the recently changed time of 9.15 am.

Meanwhile, Maratha Mandir's headhoncho has decided to meet YRF boss Aditya Chopra on Tuesday to decide on the fate of the movie. There are plans to extend the screening by a year more.

Meanwhile, for all those who haven't experienced watching DDLJ in Maratha Mandir now is the time to rush. Kya pata, Kal Ho Naa Ho.
