Deepika Padukone teams up once again with Homi Adjania in Finding Fanny Fernandes

Deepika Padukone is pretty excited to be back with her Cocktail producer and director Dinesh Vijan and Homi Adjania respectively in an upcoming film Finding Fanny Fernandes. Finding Fanny Fernandes is an English / Konkani satirical short film produced by Saif Ali Khan's Illuminati Films. The film is based on a road trip set in Goa and follows the journey of five characters. Five dysfunctional Goans set off on a road trip in search of an old postman's childhood love Stefaine (Fanny) Fernandes though nobody knows whether she’s alive or dead or is just a figment of someone’s imagination. However the friends get lost and the journey, that is supposed to take a mere 20 minutes unexpectedly takes one and a half days. With Deepika playing the central character, the film also has Naseeruddin Shah, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur among others. The Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai fame actress has fond memories of shooting Cocktail with the entire team and treats the 2012 released film very close to her heart. The actress is more than pleased to have another opportunity to work with Homi and Dinesh and hopes that this film creates more magic than what Cocktail made.
