Dev Anand museum in the offing

With Dev Anand’s first death anniversary due to be observed on 3 December this year, his son Suniel Anand has revealed that he has been working on a Dev Anand museum. Dev Anand's museum will have the actor's personal belongings such as film scripts, props and posters. Even his hats and scarves that were an integral part of the actor's persona will be on display at the museum.

With Dev Anand’s first death anniversary due to be observed on 3 December this year, his son Suniel Anand has revealed that he has been working on a Dev Anand museum. Dev Anand's museum will have the actor's personal belongings such as film scripts, props and posters. Even his hats and scarves that were an integral part of the actor's persona will be on display at the museum. Detailing about the museum, the actor’s son said, "There are some permissions I will need to take from the BMC. I am working on that.” It is being said that the redevelopment work on Anand studio should wrap up in the next 10 months. Moreover, on 26 September, Suniel will hold a select get- together in a five-star hotel in the suburbs and announce a new film. The film will be shot in English. Confirming the news Suniel said, "In the get-together, I will announce an English film. This is something I have been planning for a long time." He also went on to say that his father always wanted to make an English film. “I am just fulfilling his wish,” he added. Suniel also plans to announce a Hindi film in due course of time.
