Recently, in an interview with the popular news portal, Farida Jalal was questioned by the interviewer if given a chance what would be the three things she would ask Shah Rukh Khan. To which, Farida gave a shy reply. First, she denied answering it and said she couldn't, but later expressed how he could change his mother and become someone else's son.
She said, "Nahi nahi bol sakti aise (laughs), aise sawaal hai jo mai puchungi. Aap apni maa ko badal kaise sakte ho. Kisi or ka beta kaise ban sakte hai ap. Baki dua hi dungi, I am very proud of him."
Earlier, Farida revealed that she had lost contact with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. She stated the reason behind the same and revealed that they had changed their mobile numbers, which made it hard for her to reach out to them.
She was quoted as saying, "No, I am not. How do I get to him? Tell me. (even) Salman, how do I get to them? You know, they have changed their mobiles or whatever."
During the same chat, Farida remembered Shah Rukh Khan's kind gesture when she had been experiencing a difficult time. The veteran actress disclosed that following her shoulder surgery, Shah Rukh Khan had inquired about her well-being. In addition, he took care to advise her and tell her that recovery would not be simple.
Remembering her great conversation with Shah Rukh, Farida stated, “I had shoulder surgery done by Shah Rukh, and he has done many. So, those days, I went to his doctor also. He called me out of the blue, so sweet, na? ‘Farida ji, I have to tell you, yeh jo shoulder surgery hai na... Don’t get impatient. It’s going to take lots of time to get back that movement’. I was very worried about why I was not able to lift my arm up. He called me. I felt so good when he called. He said, ‘Farida ji, just don’t worry; this takes time. After a year, you’ll be able to lift your arm well. But it takes time, so don’t lose patience’."
