MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Khan was over the moon when she delivered her first baby with husband Saif Ali Khan. Taimur has been the undisputed internet sensation ever since he was born. The famous star kid who turns 4 tomorrow, is paparazzi’s favourite and one of the most adorable munchkins on the block. Apart from his overloaded cuteness, Tim Tim was mired in controversy ever since he was born. We still remember soon after Bebo and Saif had announced their toddler’s name, the new parents were questioned about the origins of the name.
Now during her chat show What Women Want with journalist Barkha Dutt, Kareena Kapoor Khan recalled a bitter incident when Taimur was born. She told Dutt, “There was a famous personality, who had galls to come there on the pretext of visiting me and the baby, came up to me and in the conversation of actually saying congratulations, and said that ‘what’s with you? Why would you name your son Taimur?’ And I was like, It hadn’t even been 8 hours since I’d delivered. And I literally started crying. That person was asked to leave. My journey with that started then where I just made up my mind and I said this is my boy, my son. I don’t care what happens. As long as he is happy, and he is healthy and we’re happy. I’m just gonna go home and go away with this. I don’t want to know anything else. What is trolling, what is happening.”

She further added, “How do you know I named him like that? We named him for its meaning iron and somebody who’s very strong and the sound of it. It has nothing to do with anything that happened (in history).”
Bebo and Saif are currently over the moon as they are expecting baby no 2. The actress is expected to deliver in Feb 2021.
