The Cairo International Film Festival has invited Madhur Bhandarkar to be part of the jury.
Said an excited Bhandarkar, "I am delighted to be a part of the International Jury for the 35th edition of Cairo International Film Festival. I love the theme that they have - 'Positive thinking, revolution and freedom'. This is an honour, which I humbly accept."
The 44-year-old director's last film was the Kareena Kapoor-starrer Heroine that released last September.

Bollywood films that would be screened at the fest are Karan Johar's Agneepath, Rituparno Ghosh's Chitrangada, Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Tigmanshu Dhulia's Paan Singh Tomar.
With the forthcoming edition, the Cairo film festival that was last held in 2010 is returning with an ambitious programme of Arab, African and international films, plus workshops and seminars.
