Looks like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who after his debut film Kahaani has been bagging roles right, left and centre. And now after he made his mark in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur 2, National award winning director Mangesh Hadawle has signed the actor to essay a mute character in Dekh Indian Circus.
The film highlights the problems faced by a family staying in a village in Rajasthan and the aspirations of rural India.
And so seriously did the actor taken the role that he refrained from talking to anyone while he was on the sets. "Nawaz underwent a course in which he was trained for hand movements, gestures and facial expressions which are usually done by mute people in their day-to-day life. Though it was rigorous and difficult, Nawaz mastered it by the end of the training session," revealed Hadawle.
The film also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee.
