Ness abused and attacked my character thrice, says Preity to police

After dilly-dallying and avoiding the police for close to 10 days, Preity finally recorded her supplementary statement with the police, yesterday evening at the Wankhede stadium. Although Preity wanted to record her statement at her residence, cops insisted on her coming to the stadium for identifying the spot where the alleged incident occurred. In her supplementary statement recorded with the Marine Drive police, Preity said that Ness abused and manhandled her thrice on 30 May at Wankhede. The actress also showed the spot at Garware stadium where she was abused twice and the place on the ground where Ness abused her for the third time. If sources from the police are to be believed then Preity has claimed in her statement that her troubles began when Ness Wadia started abusing a Kings XI official over seating arrangement. Preity, on hearing the commotion, asked Ness to calm down and be quiet as their team was winning. This is when Ness allegedly abused Preity and manhandled her by pulling her hand. Subsequently, Preity moved towards the front row near the railing where again Ness followed and abused her. Here one of Preity's guest, an American national by the name of Gene Goodenough asked Ness to stop abusing. Thereafter, Ness left the spot. After the match, when Preity entered the ground to congratulate her players, Ness is alleged to have abused her here for the third time. Among the many witnesses that Preity has named, there happens to be the name of the teenage son of a former legendary cricketer. She has also mentioned in her statement that Ness' mom Maureen Wadia had never entered Garware pavilion as claimed by Ness. Preity was also quizzed by the police about the threat calls made to Wadia family by gangster Ravi Pujari. To this the feisty actress replied that she knows Ravi Shastri and Cheteshwar Pujara but no one called Ravi Pujari. Well, it remains to be seen if Ness would be arrested post this detailed statement from Preity.
