MUMBAI: Ever since actress Kangana Ranaut appeared on an episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan, they have had major disputes. On the episode, Karan asked Kangana if the rumours about her having plastic surgery were true, and about her past relationships as well, which seemed to be vexing topics for her. Things got worse when Kangana took a jab at KJo, calling him a ‘flagbearer of nepotism’. The two of them continue to be in a spat till date.
When she appeared on Koffee With Karan, she was accompanied by guests Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor, and the host asked her some personal questions. Referring to her appearance, Karan asked Kangana, “Have you worked on yourself?” The actress looked confused on hearing this and replied, “In what way exactly?” The filmmaker then asked if the rumours of her plastic surgery were true. To this she retorted, “I don’t think so. I am young, I come from the north, we are all blessed.”
In 2017, the actress again graced the couch with Saif Ali Khan, and this time she left everyone shocked when she said that if ever a biopic on her would be made, Karan will play the role of a Bollywood biggie who is snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders. Quoting Ranaut, she said, “In my biopic, if it is ever made, you will play this stereotypical Bollywood biggie who is very snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders and flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia. You will have a huge part to play in my biopic. I like the antagonist in you in my biopic.” This statement did not go down well with the filmmaker.
Recently, Kangana lashed out at Karan Johar once more, accusing him of sharing fake box office numbers of his film Brahmastra. She even called him ‘movie mafia.’
