MUMBAI : After Kartik Aaryan was replaced from a high profile film last year, several of his fans claimed the actor was being targetted and harassed by people from the film industry. The actor has now responded to those reports. Many were excited to see his collaboration with Karan Johar in the film of Dostana 2. The film was supposed to star him alongside Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya. But things went upside down and the actor opted out of the project.
Kartik Aaryan recently graced an awards function where he posed at the red carpet. During the press byte, paparazzi asked the actor, "Koi aapko pareshan kar raha hai?" (Is anyone harassing you in Bollywood?).
To this Kartik Aaryan responded, "Nahi aisa kuch nahi hai. Koi pareshan nahi kar raha, award leke jaa raha hoon!" (There’s nothing like that. Nobody is bothering me, I’m taking home an award).
Kartik even took a moment to look at his left at someone unknown and shared an unexpected glare.

Recently, there were reports that Kartik threatened to walk out of his upcoming film Shehzada. The reports emerged after the producers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo decided to release its Hindi version in theatres. Shehzada is the official remake of the Telugu film. Reports said Kartik was worried about the box office prospects of his film being hurt by the original's re-release.
Given these constant issues, many of Kartik's fans had claimed that the actor was being targetted by certain influential people within the film industry. Till now, Kartik had maintained a stoic silence on the issue though.
