MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most popular celebrity couples.
While Akshay is known for giving back-to-back hit films, Twinkle is known for not mincing her words. Twinkle's witty captions often leave netizens amazed but she is like that not just on social media. Back in 2018, Twinkle had appeared on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee with Karan, with her husband and most of it seemed to be a roast session for KJo.
During one of the segments of the show, Karan had asked Twinkle, "What is that one thing that Akshay has and Khans of Bollywood don't?" Being her witty best, the actress-turned-author said, "Some extra inches." Her reply left Karan looking at Akshay and the actor hid his face behind the coffee cup. Upon seeing Karan's reaction, Twinkle went on to say, "Don't look at his crotch. I meant his feet. You always have your mind in other people's crotches. It's his feet-size, 12."
In fact, Twinkle, last year, had also shared this clipping from the show on Instagram. Along with it, she had written, "My dear friend @karanjohar sent me this one and we both cracked up. How did we get away with all this nonsense #OldIsGold"
On the work front, Akshay is one of the busiest actors in tinsel town with multiple projects in the pipeline. His upcoming collaboration with Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi, has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor has also teamed up with Aanand L Rai for Atrangi Re, co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. The actor will also be headlining YRF's Prithviraj and also has films like Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu and Cinderella in the works.
