Bollywood and its ways can be very demanding at times. The punishing schedule can really take a toll on your health. And when hundreds of crores are riding on your shoulders, you are forced to push your body beyond limits which more often than not results in fatigue and severe illness. The latest one to experience the vagaries of Bollywood happens to be Deepika Padukone. Sources close to the actress say that she almost fainted last Saturday after working non-stop for 30 hours. "Deepika has a chock-a-block schedule. Last week, after shooting for Happy New Year for 16 odd hours, Deepika rushed for her dance performance at an upcoming award function. Not only did she perform, she also did a thorough rehearsal with the team before that," reveals a source. It is believed that Deepika started experiencing terrible weakness after shooting till the wee hours on Friday where she is reportedly said to have almost fainted on sets. "She woke up on Saturday morning experiencing running high fever and felt extremely weak. A doctor was rushed home who advised her strict bed rest," says the source. Deepika who had a hectic day ahead with a magazine shoot and brand commitment to keep was so physically drained out that she had no option but to take the prescribed medicines and stay at home and rest. A spokesperson of Deepika confirmed the news. "Deepika's health has taken a toll. The doctor has strictly advised her complete rest for couple of days." Here's wishing Dippy a quick and healthy recovery. May be a visit from a certain Ranveer Singh can help too, we feel.
