MUMBAI : In a widely shared video, Telugu actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, popularly known as Balayya, is seen forcing actress Anjali onto the platform at the Gangs of Godavari trailer launch. Ridhi Dogra has responded angrily to this. Netizens were outraged by the video, and Balayya's actions were widely criticised. Balayya faced blowback, and many people criticised her behaviour.
Tv and film actress Ridhi Dogra who is known for being outspoken has now reacted to the incident. Taking to Instagram she wrote, “THE MILLIONTH TIME A WOMAN HAS LAUGHED OFF AN OVERGROWN MAN CHILD. COZ THE WORLD IS CONSTRUCTED TO ACCOMMODATE EVERY NONSENSE A MAN DOES. ESP THOSE IN POWER POSITIONS. WHICH IS MOSTLY ALL MEN, NO MATTER WHICH STRATA THEY BELONG TO." She further commented on Anjali's reaction to the situation, saying, "IF SHE HAD INSTEAD BEEN STERN SHE WOULD'VE INSTANTLY BEEN 'TROLLED' FOR BEING CRAZY."
The incident in question happened at the Gangs of Godavari trailer launch. The film's outstanding cast, which included Nandamuri Balakrishna, attended the occasion. A camera captured NBK pressing Anjali as he entered the stage, requesting that she move slightly. Anjali was almost knocked down by the unexpected shove, but actress Neha Shetty intervened to save her. Anjali laughed it off after being initially taken aback by NBK's actions, while NBK remained serious the entire time.
Renowned in the entertainment world, Ridhi Dogra is well known for her parts in TV series like Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, and Savitri.
