MUMBAI : Rohit Shetty is one of the most successful filmmakers we have in Bollywood. He has given 11 hits till now, and today, the trailer of his upcoming film Cirkus was launched at a grand event in Mumbai. At the event, Rohit opened up about doing a pan-India film.
When Rohit was asked if he would like to make a pan-India film and which South star he would like to cast in it, Pooja Hegde, who was there at the trailer launch, told the filmmaker, “I am there.” Rohit added, “I don’t have any plan, but I would like to work with everyone; from Rajini sir to Suriya sir to Ajith to Vijay, and Karthi.”

Ranveer jokingly added, “Mera cameo rahega.” When Rohit was asked if he would make a film with Ranveer and a South actor, the filmmaker asked the journalist to suggest which actor he should cast. The journalist replied that it would be great to have Ranveer and Thalapathy Vijay. So, Rohit replied, “We will try.”

Talking about Cirkus, the film is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. In 1982, a film titled Angoor was also made which was an adaptation of The Comedy of Errors. The movie starred Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma in the lead roles. Cirkus also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma, and it is slated to release on 23rd December 2022.
