MUMBAI: Post the arrest of actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra by the Mumbai Police for allegedly making pornographic films and publishing them through an OTT app, the actress's role in this whole case has also come under the scanner now.
On July 23, the Mumbai Crime Branch team raided the Juhu bungalow owned by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, when the official statement of the actress in the case was also recorded.
Now, according to a report in a news portal, while giving her statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the actress got involved in an argument with Raj Kundra, who was also present there and broke into tears.
The actress was reportedly shaken and upset as she recorded her statement which went on to nearly two hours.

Meanwhile, in her statement, she has reportedly denied any involvement in the case and claimed that she was not aware of the exact content of the controversial app in question on which the adult content was being published.
While citing ‘more obscene’ examples from other OTT platforms and mentioning that erotica is different from porn.
She further defended her husband by stating that Raj was not involved in producing 'porn content' and vouched for his innocence.
