MUMBAI: Sanam Teri Kasam has made it big this time with its re-release. The first time when the movie was released it was 2016 and while it did not perform well at the box office, the emotional reactions from the audience spoke volumes.
Now, in 2025, after 9 years of its initial release, the movie has hit the big screens and it has got not just old fans back but new ones as well. Finally, the movie is getting its due success and it’s so powerful that even new releases are feeling the weight.
Harvardhan Rane is recognized and loved very much for his role in the movie as the main lead. The character’s journey, his emotions and his chemistry with the female lead Mawra Hocane has all touched the hearts of audiences and this time, the box office has reflected this love very well.

The actor said, “Sir I will say, you prove to me and I will be in agreement. You tell Harsh 10 mein se 9 log Nepotism se aaye hai, I will agree with you. And from tomorrow I will write here (pointing to his chest) nepotism ke baare mein but nahi hai na sir facts toh aap prove hi nahi kar pa rahe ho. But everyone wants to hear something negative because mast Reel banti hai uski, toh ache views aate hai usko ek badhiya tagline dal jata hai.”
Sanam Teri Kasam had a massive 6 Cr collection on a Sunday and even did an amazing 3-3.5 Cr collection on a Monday. These numbers are amazing for a Hindi movie in recent times.
