Actress Sayani Datta says that the subject of her upcoming film ‘Romantic Noy’ is unique.
“This (Romantic Noy) is a unique subject for the Kolkata market. When the subject is unique, people definitely expect something from it. I am excited and looking forward to its release,” Sayani said to Tellychakkar.com at the music launch of the film.
Talking about her role, the actress said, “In the film, I am playing Shaheb’s (Bhattacherjee) girlfriend. In the beginning people will see us sharing a very emotional bond. But at the end, where that bonding will go that audience will have to find out in the film.”
“I can say one thing that this bonding talks a lot about the relationship between a man and a woman,” added Sayani.
When asked if she is romantic, the Na Hannyate and Shada Kalo Abcha, fame actress said, “No romance in my life. I am very unromantic. Maybe with age, I have become unromantic.”
So, were you romantic when you were young? Prompt came the reply, “Of course, I was. I guess every teenage girl in every part of this world is romantic. During teenage period, the movies and thrillers that we read, create a world of fantasy. This fantasy world begins as we enter our teenage period and as we grow old, this too gets over. Such imaginations remain till we are 22-23 and then we are back to reality.”
“As a person, I am very emotional. There is a difference between ‘being romantic’ and ‘being emotional’. I would say that I am emotional more than romantic,” added the pretty lady.
Do you think a relationship needs romance? She opined, “I think if you lead a practical life then all your relationship needs is ‘understanding’.”
“It’s ‘compromise’, ‘understanding’ and ‘adjustment’ that makes a relationship stronger because today your relationship is full of romance but tomorrow it might vanish,” she signed off.
