That Salman Khan will be launching Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab’s son Sooraj in a remake of Subhash Ghai’s Hero is a well-known fact.
What comes as a surprise is the level of interest being shown by Salman in Sooraj’s career.
According to very reliable sources from the film’s crew Salman has taken charge of every aspect of Sooraj’s debut, from the debutante’s look to the music that Sooraj will be heard singing and playing in the film.
Says the source, “Salman has decided on a very grunge look for Sooraj. In the original Hero too Jackie Shroff sported a grunge look. Salman wants Sooraj to sport a stubbled look teamed up with ear rings and tattoos.”
More importantly Salman has reworked all of Jackie Shroff’s 1980s’ stunts from the original into a very contemporary 2014 look and feel.
Not only does Sooraj get to do some high-flying kick-ass action he also gets to use Salman Khan’s Panvel farm to practice for it.
Says the source, “All the major action sequences in the Hero re-make are mobike-centric. Salman has got a Canadian action director to supervise Sooraj’s stunts. Sooraj is being taught the motorcycle stunts known as ‘Motocross’ at Salman’s Panvel farm.”
This is the first time that Salman has allowed his very private haven for relaxation in Panvel to be used for work-related activity.
Salman apparently sees a lot of his own personality in Sooraj.
