MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case is becoming more complicated by the day. We still don't know whether it is a suicide or homicide.
Rhea’s custody was extended until October 6th 2020, but her lawyer has filed a bail plea in High Court, and it could be heard today.
Times Now has accessed the bail plea where Rhea’s lawyer has mentioned that the arrest is illegal and put allegations on SSR’s family.
In the plea, it is mentioned that SSR’s sister Meetu had warned him that she would be filing a case against him regarding the alteration with his sister Priyanka and her husband. This worried SSR as Meetu’s husband is an IPS officer and they could misuse his position.
After Rhea got to know this, she told OP Singh (IPS officer) that if they put any case against the actor, she will file an FIR against the sister in the molestation case.

The lawyer also mentioned that SSR used to smoke drugs and was addicted to them. He started while shooting for Kedarnath, and it was Rhea who was trying to bring him out of it.
They also mention the Europe trip after which SSR began to feel anxious and they had to cut the trip short. The bail plea also mentions Capri Heights (SSR's old house). The actor felt that the house was haunted and that’s when he started staying at Waterstone Resort, where he was undergoing spiritual healing.
The bail plea might be heard today, and the NCB will be opposing it by claiming that if they lose Rhea’s custody she might tamper with evidence and influence the witnesses.
