Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: Rhea’s lawyer reacts to AIIMS report, says the truth cannot be changed

MUMBAI: Since the AIIMS said that this is not a case of murder but suicide, the entire investigation has been moved to abetment of suicide.

Let’s rewind a bit to when the family had accused Rhea of murdering SSR and of giving him some sort of poisonous substances or forcefully giving him drugs.

The family since day one has been accusing Rhea of being responsible for the mysterious death of SSR. She has been named as the number one accused in the SSR death probe.

Now, reports have emerged that AIIMS experts have supposedly ruled out the strangulation and death by murder theory in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, suggesting that the actor indeed died by suicide. Over this, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has given a statement.

Her lawyer said that he has seen the statement of the AIIMS department regarding the SSR case. The official papers and report are only with AIIMS and the CBI which they will be producing in front of the court once the investigation is done.

"We on behalf of Rhea Chakraborty have always said that Truth cannot be changed under any circumstances. The speculations against Rhea in some quarters of the Media are motivated and mischievous. We remain committed to Truth Alone," he said.

Well, the actress has been arrested by the NCB under the NDPS act and is right now at Byculla Jail for procuring and consuming drugs.

One will have to wait and watch to see what the CBI has to say about all this!
