MUMBAI : A sibling relationship can never be considered full without arguments, right? The Bollywood actresses Tanishaa Mukerji and her sister Kajol have a similar bond. These two fight just like any other sibling duo.

The Neal 'n' Nikki actress talked about having a Tom and Jerry connection with her sister in a recent interview. She continued by saying that she views her husband Ajay Devgn and her older sister as her parents.

Speaking with the well-known news portal, Tanishaa Mukerji told how their father used to refer to her and Kajol as Tom and Jerry, with the DDLJ actress playing the role of Tom. She continued by saying that Tom and Jerry have only grown up over time.

Tanishaa also stated that Kajol is like a mother figure to her while her hubby Ajay Devgn is like a father figure. Talking about what she has learnt from her elder sister and her husband, the former Bigg Boss contestant revealed about Ajay, “he has taught me to be considerate and kind to everyone.” Talking about her sister she said, “She has taught me to be strong and stand up for the people we love. It takes a village to raise a child and I had a beautiful village.”

Tanishaa had mentioned earlier in an interview with the popular news portal that she was frequently compared to Kajol. She said she was not bothered by it. The actress from Neal 'n' Nikki talked about a comparison, "I can’t look at my sister and me and compare. I don’t even compare myself to other actors, why will I compare myself to my sister? Every actor and star has their own journey, that’s what I believe."

anishaa Mukerji admitted that her career wasn't as good as that of her sister, Kajol, and added, "...but she started when she was 16." Additionally, Tanishaa Mukerji revealed that Kajol took responsibility early in childhood and has since proven to be more strict than their mom Tanuja. Speaking about her relationship with them both, Tanishaa said that Kajol is strict like a mother while Tanuja is like a friend.

"She is like all our mothers. She is the strict one, full mummy," the actress stated.
