MUMBAI: Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday have become popular names in Bollywood. The duo also enjoys a huge fan following.
Tara began her career on TV as a child artist with Disney India's Big Bada Boom. She went on to do shows such as The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie and finally made her Bollywood debut this year. The actress began her journey in the film industry alongside star kid Ananya Panday, with Karan Johar’s film Student of the Year 2.
There were reports that Ananya and Tara do not share a close relationship and are competitive with each other. However, in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Tara opened up about her co-star and shared, “Honestly, during SOTY2, Ananya and I had a blast. In fact, we spent so much time together that we ended up picking a lot of traits off of each other. In terms of our roles, they were quite different...there was never any competition.”
Speaking about the importance of sisterhood, she said, “Absolutely...it’s been a significant part of my upbringing. I think it’s about time we started promoting sisterhood instead of pitting girls against each other, especially in my line of work.”
