MUMBAI: Global star Ram Charan is venturing into film production with his banner V Mega Pictures. The Pan-India film, The India House directed by Ram Krishna Vamsi, will be presented by Ram Charan's banner. The film's shooting has commenced quite in style in Hampi.
As Ram presents this period film, it will be bankrolled by Vikram Reddy of UV Creations and Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts (known for films like The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2, etc). Nikhil Siddharth will also be associating with Ram Charan for the project as the lead alongside Saiee M Manjrekar. The India House also stars Anupam Kher in a pivotal role.
It's a period drama set in 1905 that explores the themes of love and revolution. As the team kickstarted the shoot, they had a grand pooja ceremony held at Virupaksha Temple in Hampi (Kishkinda), in the presence of the core team. The film will be seen celebrating the beginning of this remarkable cinematic journey that blends the ocean of love with the fierce spirit of revolution.
It will have seasoned technicians handling different crafts. While Cameron Bryson will crank the camera, Vishal Abani is the production designer.
