Throwback! When Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were not happy with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being called 'Aish'

MUMBAI :Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the biggest names we have in the Indian film industry. She has been impressing us with her performances for more than two decades, and her fans fondly call her Aish. But Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan don't like it when people call Aishwarya 'Aish', especially when the media calls her Aish.

Many years ago, Abhishek and Aishwarya attended an event for a brand promotion. When the reporter called Aishwarya, 'Aish', Abhishek corrected him and said 'Aishwarya'. It looked like the actor didn't like his wife being called 'Aish'.

A similar thing happened when Aishwarya was spotted with Jaya Bachchan. For pictures, the paparazzi called Aishwarya with the name 'Aish', and this didn't go down well with Jaya Bachchan and she shouted at the paps.

We wonder if Aishwarya also has an issue if people call her 'Aish'.

Talking about Aishwarya's movies, the actress will next be seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 which is slated to release on 29th April 2023. It is one of the most awaited films of the year.
