The Mirzapur 3 actor recently opened up to the public about his dating life and shared their romantic journey. In a recent interview with the popular news portal, Vijay Varma discussed how his opinion has evolved as a result of people's curiosity about his connection with Tamannaah.
"Shock laga ki itna logon ko interest hai is mein but I got used to it now. Pehle aisa laga ki meri film release se badi news hai, so that was a big revelation of how people see things (I was shocked to learn that people were taking an interest in his dating life... Initially, I felt that it was bigger news than my film being released)," Vijay said.
The Pink actor described their relationship as "strong and lovely," adding that they both "enjoy" being in the limelight.
Vijay, who hails from Hyderabad, shared how their destiny planned that they would meet in the future. The actor shared that he shifted to Mumbai and Tamannaah, a Mumbaikar, moved to Hyderabad.
"Ek hi time par hum log cross hue ek doosre se (We crossed our paths at the same time)," the Gully Boy actor said.
Vijay also praised his girlfriend Tamannaah, saying that she has fluency in Telugu and Tamil. "So mujhe bahot interesting lagta hai hum dono ka (I find our relationship quite interesting)," he added.
Vijay Varma was paired with Tamannah Bhatia in an anthology series, Lust Stories 2, the second installment of the Lust Stories franchise. Vijay further revealed that his relationship with Tamannaah began after the shoot of the 2023 series.
The actor recalled their initial meeting as co-stars on the Lust Stories 2 set, noting that they both behaved in a "professional" manner throughout. He completed Lust Stories 2, then asked her out.
Vijay Varma revealed their love story's beginnings in March of this year. In a conversation with Tanmay Bhat on the Netflix India YouTube channel, the Lust Stories 2 star said that their first date took place 20–25 days later.
Vijay had revealed that Lust Stories 2 served as "cupid" in their romance, but that "four people showed up" at the series' wrap-up party was when their romance really took off. That was the same day the Darlings actor expressed Tamannaah his feelings.
When Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia make public appearances, they frequently turn the B-Town red. They featured in the Sex with the Ex chapter of Lust Stories 2, which was helmed by renowned director Sujoy Ghosh.
One of the anthology series' attractions was their intense chemistry.
