Manish Wadhwa who is currently essaying Chanakya in the show Chandragupta Maurya will be seen playing the role of a criminal in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Shabri. The movie revolves around the life of a lady gangster played by actress Isha Koppikar.
A source says, “Manish had signed the film almost four years ago and now it will finally release on August 26. His character is an important one and it has both positive and grey shades. Zakir Hussain, Pradeep Rawat and Raj Arjun will also play key roles. The film is written and directed by Lalit Marathe who also penned the movie Swades.”
Manish confirmed the news and said, “It is nice working with Ram Gopal Verma and especially with Lalit Marathe who is an amazing director. I am looking forward to the movie’s release.”
