MUMBAI: We recently reported about actor Arun Singh Rana being roped in to play the character of Shri Ram in &TV’s Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha. And guess what? The actor has bagged another show.
According to our sources, Arun will be seen playing the role of character of Bharat in Colors’ upcoming mythological show Shrimad Bhagavad, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.
The show will depict the post-Mahabharata story and is slated to go on-air from 17th March.
As we reported earlier, Rajneesh Duggal will play the role of Krishna, and Indraneil Sengupta and Ishita Ganguly will play Shiv and Parvati respectively. The show will feature actors namely Priyanka Singh, Suchit Vikram Singh, Ayaz Khan, Chandan Anand, Vijay Badani, Yogesh Mahajan, Nakul Ghaneka, Danish Akhtar, Anshul Bammi, and many others.
Arun confirmed the news and shared, ‘I am lucky that I am playing almost every character of our Indian history. I especially started playing these kinds of characters only for my Dadaji, as he enjoyed watching shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat. My Dadaji is no more, and I miss him so much. But I know he is watching me and will be happy seeing me playing such great roles.’
