Shafaq Naaz to play Kausalya in Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram

MUMBAI : Here we are back with another update from &TV's mythological show Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. 

We broke the news about child artist Niray Samadhiya has been roped in to play the role of Lord Ram while Manish Wadhwa will depict the role of Ravan in the show.

Early in the day we also broke the news about actor Anwar Khan has been roped in to play Ram's father Dasharath. 

Now, we hear that actress Shafaq Naaz, who is known for her stint in shows like Mahabharat, Chidya Ghar, Mahakaali and more, has been roped in to play Ram's mother Kausalya in the show. 

We could get through her for a comment. 

Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram stars Ekagra Dwivedi as the young Hanuman while actors namely Sneha Wagh, Jiten Lalwani, Nirbhay Vadhwa and Ram Yashvardhan play pivotal parts.
