New faces Rahul Sharma, Umang Jain and Upasna Singh in Yash Patnaik's telefilm for Star Plus

Yesterday (31 July 2012), we wrote about Arjun Bijlani and Neha Janpandit shooting for Magic Lantern’s telefilm. Earlier today, we broke the news of Avinash Sachdev and Shafaq Naaz playing the leads in Sphere Origin’s telefilm for the channel. And now we give you more on Yash Patnaik’s telefilm (Beyond Dreams). And this comes after we have written about seasoned actor Sahil Chaddha being part of Yash Patnaik’s love story that blossoms in a fashion house where he plays a flirtatious boss. We hear that new face Rahul Sharma has been roped in to play the lead. Umang Jain, the bubbly and beautiful girl who came into the spotlight with the popular Cadburys ad, with her lines ‘Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaaye’ will play the female lead’s role. Seasoned actor Upasna Singh will also be seen in a pivotal role. Shashant Shah, who has directed movies like Dasvidaniya and Chalo Dilli will be directing this particular project. When contacted, producer Yash Patnaik confirmed the news stating, “Yes, we have found two fresh faces in Rahul Sharma and Umang Jain to play the leads in our telefilm. They are extremely talented. We are eagerly looking forward to commence shooting.” Upasna Singh also confirmed her presence. “I play a widow who has raised her two daughters in extremely difficult conditions. One of my daughters works in the fashion house.” We hear that the unit plans to shoot at Chandni Chowk in Delhi very soon. We wish them all the luck!!
