MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s popular mythological show Vignaharta Ganesh is in news after the lead actress Akanksha Puri who plays the role of Goddess Parvati decided to quit the show. The makers at Contiloe Pictures are currently looking out for an apt replacement.
The show will soon witness a new entry in the form of actor Shikhar Gulani.
According to our sources, Shikhar, who has been part of shows like Shrimad Bhagwat, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Siya Ke Ram, Jiji Maa, and many more, will depict the role of Rishi Kashyup.
We hear that Shikhar has started shooting and his entry is expected to take in the coming days.
The show will also witness the entry of actors Athar Siddiqui and Atul Verma. Athar will play the role of an antagonist Devantak while Atul will play a negative role named Narantak.
