I am offering my versatility, range and depth of every character that I play but why is it that I am not offered lead roles?: Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega actor Abhinandan Jindal

In the past, Abhinandan has been seen in TV shows such as Sasural Simar Ka, Thapki Pyaar Ki, Jiji Maa and Krishna Chali London. When we asked him that despite being a part of popular shows, what is his take on not being cast for lead roles?

MUMBAI: Abhinandan Jindali will soon be re-entering Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega in the role of Arav Jindal.

In conversation with Abhinandan, we spoke to him about his experience shooting for the show, He said, “The experience has been very good and I have thoroughly enjoyed shooting for Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. In the past, I have done comic roles in both my shows and this time, I got to play a role which is intense. It was very opposite to my last show Krishna Chali London where I had to speak in Kanpuria language. In Guddan, I am playing a character who has many shades to his personality. While the audience may find him to be negative too, according to him, what all he is doing is justified as he can do anything for his sister and calls spade a spade too. “

In the past, Abhinandan has been seen in TV shows such as Sasural Simar Ka, Thapki Pyaar Ki, Jiji Maa and Krishna Chali London. When we asked him that despite being a part of popular shows, what is his take on not being cast for lead roles?

Abhinandan said, “I just want to say that I am a pure artist. I do not intend to degrade someone and I am only talking about myself. I have an aura which makes me standout of the crowd. I am not too active on social media, nor do I engage in gossip or off-screen selfies. I perform as an artist and I am extremely loved on the sets of all my shows I have done so far. I am honest and have taken proper training classes and I am more of a method actor. I still remember for my earlier role as Saajan, I had put on around 7 to 10 kgs to get into the skin of the character. I looked like I was 32 years then and after that, I started getting offers from a 32 year old.

My question is that I am offering my versatility, range and depth of every character that I play, doesn’t the TV industry want actors? After my stint in Jiji Maa, right after my first episode was telecast, I was referred by Star Plus for Krishna Chali London. I have been nominated as the best actor in Comic Role too. As for Arav too, the role is so intense. So I am questioning that when I have so much to offer, why is it that I am not offered lead roles?

Well said Abhinandan! (Also Read: Abhinandan Jindal to RE-ENTER Zee TV’s Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega!)
