Diya Aur Baati Hum-a story of inspiration

While majority of television viewers watch Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) for entertainment sake, there are few people who draw inspiration and make it a part of their lives. Recently, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Sooraj (Anas Rashid) from this Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd project visited Delhi for the promotion for their show. While the actors were interacting with their fans, one of them came up and said, “Thank you for making me realize her (wife’s) importance in my life and her dreams. I want my wife to live her dream and will support her even if my family protests.” The entire team was very touched with what the man said. In fact, Anas added, “I am so glad that our show’s hard work is actually helping to change our fans’ lives. This is the biggest achievement not only for me but the entire team of Diya and Star Plus.
