I want to win this show, says Rithvik "Jhalak" Dhanjani

Rithvik Dhanjani
Earlier in the day, we carried an article on eliminated contestants voicing their predictions on who will emerge as the ultimate winner in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5. Widening the horizon we decided to talk to the top three finalists namely, Rithvik Dhanjani, Rashmi Desai and Gurmeet Choudhary, and find out their thoughts before the grand finale. We will present three different articles pertaining to three different finalists. We will begin with Rithvik… Rithvik… better known as Arjun of Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta entered the dance reality show as a wildcard entrant. Over the time, the handsome lad proved his mettle as a dancer and went on to emerge as one of the strongest contestants. Ask him how does he feel at this point and he avers, “I have mixed emotions. At one hand… I am sad about the fact that I won’t get to dance on Jhalak again. On the other, I am happy that through this show I got to know how much people here and abroad love me. So, basically there is this ball of mixed emotions.” The winner of Jhalak also gets cash prize money but Rithvik was unaware of this fact when he joined the show as he tells us, “When I joined this competition I had no idea about the prize money. It was only during our shoot for the finale that I learnt that there is an amount. Winning the show has been my focus but the prize money is like a cherry on the cake.” A very simple question that arises in the minds and hearts of one and all is if the contestants in the finale worth being there. What does he think about it? “I believe Isha (Sharvani) should have been in the finale as she was one of the strongest contenders on this show. Even Karan Wahi for that matter. I think he moved out of the show at the wrong phase. Maybe it’s just hard luck.” Talking about the other two finalists, Rashmi Desai and Gurmeet Choudhary, he says, “They completely deserve to be in the finale. Rashmi is a fabulous dancer. She is very graceful and she dances from her heart while, Gurmeet has proved himself on this show. He has worked hard and got what he deserves.” We probe him further and ask what if … someone else takes away the trophy? And he quickly replies, “As of now I do not have that question in my mind. I want to win this show. I am sure the others too want to win it.” Lastly he says, “All I want to tell my fans is that I love them from the bottom of my heart. I have been one of you and I have come here from being a no one. This has all been because of the love and support I have got from you’ll. I thank all of you.”
