MTV Europe Music Awards to be a smashing affair this year

This festive season, Vh1 will celebrate by bringing its audience an event the entire globe has been waiting for - 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards! The coveted awards will air Live on 12 November, 2012 at 12.30 am exclusively on Vh1 with a prime time repeat at 9 pm. Held at Frankfurt’s Festhalle, the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards promises to be nothing less than a spectacular awards show. Host for the night will be the hot and sexy supermodel Heidi Klum, upping the glamour quotient several notches. With the entire music industry sashaying down the red carpet, the awards are sure to be one unforgettable night. Bringing the house down at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards with their performances this year are pop icons like Pitbull, Alicia Keys and the Killers amongst others. South Korean sensation Psy will perform his trending global smash hit ‘Gangnam Style’ while Alicia Keys will perform to a track from her upcoming album Girl on Fire. The Killers will return to the EMA stage in support of their recent Battle Born album, whereas Pitbull will debut a song from his new Global Warming album. Leading the nominations pack this year is none other than the R&B sensation Rihanna with six nominations. Coming second is Taylor Swift with five nominations and Katy Perry and teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber with four nominations each.
