However, with a certain turn of events in the story, Virat married Sai to fulfil his responsibility.

Virat leaves Paakhi heartbroken with the promise given to her by marrying Sai.

While Paakhi married Virat's cousin Samrat but she was never able to move on as she is still in love with him.

Meanwhile, Virat has now fallen in love with Sai while fulfilling his duty. Paakhi is seeing this and is not able to take it.

She constantly vents out her anger on Sai and her equation with Virat has also become equally complicated.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Neil Bhatt and asked him about his views on Virat's character and how he would justify this.

Neil said, ''I think the way Virat's character is designed, he is someone who is a complete family person and wants everybody to gel along. He always wants his family to behave properly with both Sai and Paakhi. Virat also wants Sai and Paakhi to gel well.''

Further speaking about Paakhi's point of view, he said, ''It is her opinion and she can feel cheated about this. She is right in her space.''

However, Neil feels, ''I think Virat is right in his mind that he is standing true to his promise about his friendship with Paakhi and he has still maintained that. That is the beauty of the show that Virat fell in love with Sai while fulfilling his duty. No one thinks before falling in love. This is a standout in the trio's relationship.''

Well said, Neil!
